nen - do
nen-do, Japanese for clay, is an eco-certified clay paint that is available in 14 natural tones.
Developed in Hamburg in 2018 by the interior design consultant and concept store owner Xenia Rosengart and the designer, photographer and interior stylist Peter Fehrentz.
About nen-do
Using clay minerals from regional sources, Xenia and Peter have created 14 soft, subtle nen-do shades through a blending of the raw materials. The color nuances range from warm beige and gray tones to ochre, terracotta and green.
The entire color palette is comprised of nen-do, which not only compliments contemporary interiors, but also contributes to an optimal room climate. The names, such as cedar wood, natural linen or matcha garden, besides describing the respective color, also convey a very unique feeling. The fact that clay paint is a very sensorial product runs through all aspects of design at nen-do.
All paints and plasters are produced locally in Germany.
